Georgia's Tootsie Roll hoodie came in today! And I could not have said it better, "Make the World Sweeter!" She does indeed make my world a happier place. If it weren't for the Petsmart Groomers effing up her her haircut and shaving her as low as a chihuahua....((I digress)) there would never be an unhappy moment owning a Yorkie. I mean the training is tough but she has almost got that down.

This was a steal on eBay for $9.99, I have seen it other places for as much as 29.99.

After giving her a bath the other day my BF was like all Georgia needs now is a robe! Wait'll he gets a load of this!!!

Every Yorkie has a passion for fashion! And Georgia is no exception. We had to take a trip to new vet a friend highly recommended to us in Leesburg. Georgia has a little lump on her right hind leg. Nothing to be alarmed about, we think it might have to do with her getting her rabies shot there recently. Smaller dogs don't absorb the shots as easily as bigger dogs. After, being violated by a thermometer, Georgia could not wait to get out of there!

Well anyone in Virginia knows that a trek to Alexandria from Leesburg at 5 p.m. is going to take FOREVER!!! So, when life hands you traffic, pull over and go shopping!!!

Georgia and I stopped over at the Leesburg Premiun Outlets for a couple hours. We went to the Juicy Couture Outlet. On our last trip to Leesburg, I bought her the Fur Trimmed Parka and a Hoodie. But on this trip we went for the Tracksuit. She recently got all her fur shaved off....(I will save the rant).... So she has been a lil cold with the A/C on in the house, thats my justification for dressing my dog. Ha ha! I bought her in September of 07, and started with a jacket & hoodies. Now I am getting her a tracksuit! Whodathunkit?

Outlet VS Regular Retail - Well we bought it for $40.00 on a no tax weekend, it's online at Nordstrom for $65.00 plus shipping and tax. When we bought the Parka and Hoodie, we got those for 25% off the outlet price so the hoodie was about $20 and the Parka $50. Still a good deal compared to the regular price of hoodie $45 and Parka $85.

Let's face it, unless you want to be the one walking your pooch with a fannie pack on, you must agree that this is a fabulous idea!!!

My yorkshire terrier, Georgia, does not need to much of a lead on leashes. So this works out perfectly!

Barkley Square Bakery in Old Town, Alexandria

Old Town Alexandria is a very pet friendly part of Virginia. While dining al fresco your dog can people watch right along with you. On a recent visit we stopped in to the Barkley Square Bakery, coveniently located across the street from the Torpedo Factory (and across from a lovely park on the water!!!) To do some shopping and pickup some treats for Georgia, my Teacup Yorkie! The staff was very friendly and there were baked goods galore (none for me though!). They even have some HAPPY TAIL ALE -Beef flavored!!!

Aside from the bakery they also have a small retail shop where you could find Juicy Couture beds, clothes and carriers!

What was on my list? Georgia and I walked away with a life vest ($15), Organic Mini dog treats ($2) and a bone shaped jewelry box for her hairbows ($7).

PS. That is not Georgia in the pic...just one I googled of the vest! haha!
